The newspaper also has Asian and European edition and has a six days a week publishing schedule. In 2019, the publication also won 37 Pulitzer Prizes for its high-quality news content. It is the largest newspaper in the United States as per circulation.

USA Today

USA Today is the national American daily newspaper published by the Gannett Company. Al Neuharth laid the foundation for the daily on September 15th, 1982. It has stiffer competition with The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times in terms of a newspaper with the most extensive circulation.

Moreover, USA Today is also sold internationally in Asia, Canada, the Pacific Islands, and Europe. USA Today is famous for providing accurate reports along with attractive graphics and some pop culture references.

Barron’s

Barron’s is one of the most excellent American weekly newspapers, which Dow Jones & Company publishes. The paper came into existence in 1921 by Clarence W. Barron and is a sister publication of The Wall Street Journal.

Los Angeles Times

The Washington Post

Shortly known as WaPo, The Washington Post is an American daily newspaper with a wide circulation in Washington, D.C. The publication came into existence in 1877, which is the area’s oldest existing newspaper.

The newspaper comes under Nash Holdings and responsible for publishing government or national politics-based content. It has won a total of 47 Pulitzer Prizes and credited with breaking the Watergate Scandal during the early 1970s.

Chicago Tribune

The Chicago Tribune-owned by Tribune Publishing made its presence felt in 1847. It is amongst the most-read daily newspaper in the Chicago Metropolitan area and Great Lakes region. New York Daily News

The New York Daily News is an American newspaper based in New York City and is the 4th widely circulated dailies in the United States. It came into existence in 1919 and first published in a tabloid format.

Since 2014, it operated by Mortimer Zuckerman and has its headquarters in Lower Manhattan. It is also known as the Daily News and is only amongst other tabloid-style newspapers in the top 10 categories.

Its circulation reached an all-time high back in 1947 with more than 2 million daily distributions.

New York Post

The New York Post, another American daily newspaper, came on the scene in 1801. Federalist and founding father Alexander Hamilton laid the foundation of the 7th most widely circulated publication in the United States, which became known as the New York Evening Post.

Since 1993, it is under News Corporation and its successor News Corp, which had its ownership from 1976 to 1988. It is also one of the only tabloid-style papers with New York Daily News.

Star Tribune

The Star Tribune is the merger of two of the biggest newspapers of Minnesota, namely the Minneapolis Tribune, founded in 1867 and Minneapolis Daily Star, founded in 1902. It has six Pulitzer prizes to its credit and comes under the ownership of Star Tribune Media Company LLC.

Houston Chronicle

The Hearst Corp owns the Houston Chronicle, founded in 1901. It is known as Houston’s newspaper. A former Houston Post reporter laid the foundation of this excellent newspaper on a sum of only $30.

Newsday

Newsday is another American daily newspaper, which is available in the Nassau and Suffolk counties, and Queens in Long Island.

In 2009, its weekday circulation reached more than 350,000 copies, which is the 11th highest in the United States and amongst suburban newspapers.

In 2012, the newspaper expanded for including Rockland and Westchester county news on its digital platform. In 2014, its circulation touched more than 420,000 during weekdays, including 434,000 on Saturday and 495,000 on Sunday.

amNewYork

The morning free daily newspaper published in New York City and by Newsday is amNewYork. It came into existence on October 10th in 2003 and is the first free daily newspaper in NYC.
